fig 4: origami cranes are given to people who are sick. if someone is in the hospital 1,000 of them are folded as a "get well soon" gift.

I remember our grade four teacher reading us the Sadako story; we learned how to make origami cranes, too. I remember we used to be obsessed with origami in grade school. I can still make a piano!
I think making the cranes could also be a great fundraising project to raise money for an organization like Amnesty International? To honour Sadako and human rights? hmmm...
Nice. We're gonna call you for thanksgiving tonight. too bad you got no turkey. Actually, we're having a barbeque instead this year. Wish you were here.
