lame factor 7.5

sorry for the lame post, but I feel like I need to vent.

My weekend, which looked so great a few days ago, kinda fell apart. now, it's not like I have a lack of things to do, but the people I really want to spend it with have so far, either pulled out of our plans, or have refused to respond. today was one of the roughest work days I've had to date. I'm not sure how it happened, but I was whipped like a little farm slave. The thing is, I kinda enjoyed it. There was something about saying yes to a manager who is so beautiful and determined...I'm not sure how to describe it.

This week was supposed to be easy, but it's turning out to be insane. Tomorrow too, will be tough. Anyways, I'm looking forwards to meeting some friends and drinking my miseries away.

For everyone who will be in Osaka: you better bring me damn good omiyage!

Goodnight.

Hey G

sorry that is a bit rough man! I hope that it is equalized and toppled over by a bunch of really great things that happen to you. Cheers!

Hey man,

Well, that sounds crazy. I've been working a hell of a lot myself, but I think the Canadian work ethic may be a bit more lax.

Don't worry it will all even out. Reward yourself when you have a chance.

Well, actually, yesterday was pretty amazing. After a crazy day, I decided to go drinking with some friends. It was like a serious Japanese lesson to me, since very little English was spoken. And I feel like that kinda thing is one of the best ways to learn...getting drunk and chatting, chatting, chatting.

After the bar we went to some little shop where they serve おちゃづけ, a kind of rice soup. It was so delicious! The owners yell something very loud every time you ask for a refill. It's cool!

I guess I just needed some release. Saving money is one thing, but every now and then you need a social outlet.

Hey man,

Sorry about the no shows. I kind of feel that I belong in that category for not showing up in Kanazawa. Don't get me wrong, I really wanted to go! I wish I could drink the blues away with you.
