Remi's Farewell

In this last week I've had to say goodbye to someone who has become one of my best friends in these last 2 years. It was great to have him here. Together we climbed Hakusan, caught rock crabs, fought gundam wars, dug a 6-foot hole in the beach, travelled to Fukuoka for a day, survived a travesty, got harassed by the Penguin-Lady, made ridiculous movies, struggled with the 2nd level Japanese test, fought a duel under the sakura, drank over girl problems, saved each other's asses many many many times, created an awesome video game idea, witnessed the end of an era (NOVA), and once fought the evil creature only know as 'Kill'.

Over the last 2 years (from 2006, actually), I've napped a pic with my phone every time Remi bought cigarettes on the way back home from work. So here is my goodbye present for him, in chronological order:

The last one was 2008-05-30, the last day you could buy smokes from a vending machine without a special TASSPO card. Thus I guess we actually witnessed the end of two eras.

Good luck, Remington. Farewell. I'll miss you, buddy.

I hope that we meet at Kanazawa or Chicago again. You can be a nice man!

You two love-birds sure did alot together.

so is he dead? You never mention where he's going.

I really liked Remi. We had some monumental times all in the course of like 3 days. Good guy for sure. I was hoping to meet up with him again. I am loosely planning a japan trip for next spring.

Its all in the bank, Graeme. Good frienships last forever. Twenty years from now you will still react the same when you see each other. Our identities are partly formed by our friends. Just keep contact with him...you won't lose him.

Hey,

MY apologies for being so vacant - I've been very busy with a new girl.

Wow that's weird that Remi is leaving. You guys sure did have fun - reminded me of your friends in High School.

My good buddy Svebor just left to Europe too. I guess we'll see if he comes back.

I miss him too. Things will never be quite as gay around here, in both the happy innocent joy sense of the word and the butt buddy 'getting your ass felt' sense of the word.

I didn't know his farewell.I miss him too...
What we had were many many staffs,
we went to a movie, play darts, video game, karaoke and so on.
All of them are my good memory in Kanazawa.
I hope to meet him sometime in the future.
